Covid-19 Update

COVID-19 Update – 11/4/2020

As COVID-19 continues to impact our country, we wanted to keep you up to date on everything we are seeing in the market, and how delays might impact your orders.

While production lead times seem to be getting better, many of our vendors are still experiencing longer than normal lead times. Additional disruptions from COVID-19 as well as increased strain on shipping and mail carriers during the holidays may cause further delays. When ordering online, please be sure to check the lead time and availability listed near the “buy” button. We’re updating these daily, and doing our best to keep them as accurate as possible.

Vendors facing delays included Festool, SawStop, Kreg, TSO, and WoodPeckers.

The good news is that we stock a lot of product. For many of these brands, we are the largest stocking dealer in New England. We’re doing our best to bring in additional inventory to avoid going out of stock wherever possible. If an item is out of stock, the “buy” button now says “Pre-Order Now.” Orders are filled based on when they were received, and the pre-order option lets you grab your spot in line.

We’re doing our best to ship all orders within 1-2 days of being placed if the item is in stock. If any item in your order is out of stock, we will notify at the email address you used to place your order.

All major carriers (UPS, FEDEX, USPS) have been experiencing delays due to COVID-19, with most suspending guaranteed delivery. What we’re seeing is delays of up to 1-2 days longer than the usual shipping times through the major carriers, depending on where you live.

Our store is open, but in a limited fashion so we can follow the guidelines set by the CDC and the State of Massachusetts. Our store hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. At this time, however, our DEMO ZONE area of the store is closed. We are limiting the number of customers allowed in the store at one time and are requiring all to wear masks while in our building.

We’ll continue to do our best to provide you with the information you need to plan for your jobs and projects. As the old saying goes, Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.
